First Book Of Trumpet Solos provides a broad selection of musical material – spanning almost 500 years – for players with little or no experience of the instrument. It takes the trumpeter from his or her very first lesson up to a standard equivalent to Associated Board Grade 4. The pieces are arranged in order of increasing difficulty and essential skills are introduced in a carefully planned progression making this a valuable component to any teaching method.
