Music for Marimbas Vol 2

Compiled and edited by Colleen Edgecombe Hart M.Mus (Wits), LRSM, ARSCM. Marimba playing provides a unique medium for allowing learners to create music without the benefit of formal musical training. These arrangements are presented in a recognizable, consistent and user-friendly way, complete with accompanying words and translations. Volume 1 and 2 include a diversity of music, both religious and secular, traditional African, popular and Classical. They also include the well-known Marimba Mass setting, arrangements of Western hymns and traditional African Christian songs. The music in these books are useful for a multi-cultural society; for schools, churches, institutions and general performance.
