Sonata In B-flat Major D 960

Composed in 1828, Sonata In B-flat is thought to be Schubert‘s last complete instrumental work.

This Urtext edition, edited by Walburga Litschauer, contains an updated foreword in both German andEnglish, as well as a critical commentary (in English only) documenting all significant readings of the sources which are relevant for the interpretation of this work. It also takes Schubert’s idiosyncratic, sometimesunclear writing of accents into account.
