Wiener Urtext Album

The Wiener Urtext Album is an album of selected easy piano pieces from various Wiener Urtext editions. The album contains well-known and lesser known original compositions from Bach to Schoenberg which are intended to diversify second and third-year piano lessons. The pupil shall get accustomed to original urtext compositions as early as possible and, at the same time, be encouraged to creative playing. Valuable help is provided by the short index of composers at the end of the volume containing links to Internet pages on the composers which shall encourage the pupil to hunt up further information. As in other Wiener Urtext editions, this volume too contains the obligatoryfacsimile page. Compared with modern notation, it can get both teachers and pupils onto fascinating expeditions.
